The Evolution of Consciousness

When I look out at the world, I have a deep longing for there to be peace, harmony and love amongst all living Beings. Without the tools of the timeless teachings of yoga, I don’t know how I would be navigating through these darker times where the world appears to be thrown into chaos & destruction.

One of the most relevant teachings of yoga that has been my inner compass, is to recognise that the world you create with in, is what creates the world outside. That is, what is in the microcosm, is in the macrocosm. This means, if I cannot change what is happening outside of me, I can certainly change my relationship with the world within me. This is both wonderfully freeing and yet it is a moment by moment commitment to remain truthful, steady and present to whatever is appearing in my life and how I choose to respond.

I feel that humanity stands at the threshold of a new era as part of the evolution of consciousness. As the old paradigms of the Piscean Age dissolve, we are invited to release inherited patterns of fear, separation, division and limitation. Beyond the noise and uncertainty of the external world, exists an eternal presence, which is unchanging and luminous, We only need to remember what the wise ancients pointed us to, which is to know who you are, your timeless True Nature.

It seems that humanity on one level have become intensely distracted and disconnected from their spiritual roots and what is occurring on the world stage is only a reminder to turn inwardly to the sanctuary of the soul and allow God to be your refugee, as well as the source to eternal life.

What if we could collectively assume responsibility for our feelings and actions, that is, our thoughts, emotions, beliefs, experiences, and samskaras, the subtle impressions carried within consciousness, that shape the reality we experience? As we heal and elevate our inner world, we naturally become catalysts for healing within the collective.

What if the new consciousness could honour, awaken & embody the frequencies of love, truth, grace, beauty, authenticity, reverence, kindness and divine intelligence?

It seems that we have the greatest invitation of our time, to move beyond separation and awaken to the living presence of the I AM. This is both an evolution of consciousness and a returning to the source of consciousness.
